Well we are having so many new experiences here in NZ. No more bizarre than celebrating "midwinter Christmas". So in one weekend we have been to two celebrations! One with my new work colleagues which was lovely. We had a pot luck delicious dinner (a kiwi institution where everyone brings a "plate"....of food!) at Philippas lovely WARM house! Special treats were the appearance of Father Christmas and pressies!
Our next midwinter bash was somewhat less festive. KPMG had a fancy dress theme-popstars! Dan and I and some friends decided to go as ABBA! Unfortunately there are no pictures (though Dan looked pretty good as Benny!) however we can reveal that the village people turned up! I don't know Freddie one month Village People the next!
