Well does everyone remember this?
This was the moment we found out we were legally allowed to live and work in New Zealand....I think it was the 5 September 2005. We were granted permits for 2 years which has meant that we were due to become illegal on the 30 October this year! Well we have been on a bit of journey over the past few months and have been weighing up residency, future plans, work permits etc....anyway the upshot of it was that we decided to go for extensions to our work permits. Long story.....but anyway we had another experience like the one above! Its just that Dan was too tired to re-enact the above excitement (another long story)!!! We have been granted til the 30 October 2008! Wohoo! We are legal aliens! THank you (from Emma) to all those who had been praying for the breakthrough...we got it and it has been amazing journey.....another long story! So who know what will happen in the meantime but for the moment its another year here......
