Pork Pie!

The weekend before last....the one with the bbq, we headed into town to do a bit of wandering and some shopping! Dan finally got round to making it to 3 Wise Men to get some shirts.....very nice too and then we wandered around some of the new up and coming areas of Christchurch! All of which seem to be hidden down cobbled streets, quite off the beaten track.

There are some lovely little shops, restaurants, bars and coffee places and we finally ventured back to an old favourite. The twisted hop.

Anyway, we enjoyed a delicious lunch, wonderful beer and it was great to just have time to catch up! Something we have had little of the past few months! Dan's highlight....obviously after spending time with me of course.....was tucking into a REAL pork pie! Oh my word....I think it made his year! This is the boy who would have a pork pie sitting in the fridge awaiting the end of his exams for a treat! Awwww!
