MUM

One of the main reason for lack of posting has been the arrival of my mum! We have had the most amazing time with her and it was just fantastic to see her having not seen her for nearly 2 and a half years (give or take!).

Anyway we have done so much! Many photos to follow! It was rather an emotional meeting at the airport and I had vowed not to be one of those weeping over emotional people....but thing is it just doesn't work that way!! So we had the first day of keeping mum awake! We were on public holiday that day so we were on hand all day to stop sleep from creeping in! THe weather was awesome so after sitting in the garden and eating milk chocolate hob nobs and catching up we ventured into town for lunch and then to the beach to be blown around no end by the easterly! I think we lasted til 8.30pm before mum really started nodding off mid sentence! During the first few days we managed to get to the Twenty 20 cricket with Helen Paul and some of the KPMG posse and during the day when we unfortunately had to work Mum pootled round Christchurch taking some rather good snaps!!
