It was however quite a shock to return from Australia and the LOVELY weather we had been experiencing and to be greeted by low level cloud and drizzle! Not to mention the temperature!
Anyway, I ride my bike to work most days and had braved the journey to work despite the driving rain and huge puddles! Biking in the rain is quite exciting. One of my pet hates however is when cars stop in the bike lane! The particular car I came across yesterday was "in my lane" however I thought I could get through! Yeah right! I hit the curb, rode along the curb until my bike somewhat ungraciously chucked my off! At a fair speed too! Right alongside a line of traffic at the lights! Talk about a humbling experienced! Will ponder on it to see what lesson I may have been trying to be taught! Anyway it hurt but I wasn't dreadfully injured, more my pride than anything else! I hopeed straight back on and got out of there as fast as I could! I was SO embarrassed!
I survived, praise God, I take it for granted that I arrive safely everyday! Just some bumps and bruises, and feeling very sore 24 hrs later!
No hard feelings though.....here is my trusty steed!

Reminds me of when you fell off you bike down the lane!! mind you, that was quite a funny story! Especially when you had to wear a bandage in David Copperfield!!
