Well it has been a busy time of late and we have so much to catch up on the old blog! The most significant and pretty sad thing that happened in February was the departure of Neil Nat and Matthew. We are really sad (still!) to have had to say goodbye and we miss them lots but England is definately the place for them at the mo and is all the richer for having them! We miss you sheps and Matthew, we miss you stacks!! We had such fun with you all over the last 15 months and it has been awesome to ride the adventure with you, thanks for inviting us! Matthew, it has been an honour to hang out with you too, what are we going to do without your cheeky little giggle! But we got this cracking picture at the aiport and we've been waiting AGES to put it up but now that you've surprised the relevant parties by just turning up we can get it posted!
We have also hosted a dinner party for our gorgeous friend Helen White who celebrated her birthday last weekend! Dan and I gutted the garden and thanks to the gorgeous weather (that I hasten to add we continue to have) we were able to sit outside! I had muchos fun getting it sorted! AND Helen and Paul cooked up a cracking meal, in fact so cracking that when crisping up the crackling we managed to set the oven on fire!! But Mr Muscle is a genious and we are all spick and span! It really was a fab evening and we ate the most delicious food! So thanks H & P for a fab evening, we think you are great!

It has been so warm recently and we have been enjoying getting outside! Not sure how much longer it is going to last but we are keeping our fingers crossed! Last sunday we went over to Quail Island with the Moorbys, Dans colleague and his wife Andrea and thier little boy Evan, who is very cute! Quail Island is a 15 minute ferry ride from Lyttleton and was a leper collony and also was where people were quarantined on the way into the country! It was a lovely afternoon out, a nice walk round the island, great to catch up and we had a lovely picnic on the beach where Evan tucked into an apple! We think it soothed his gums!

Well I think that is all for this post! We will be posting again soon with photos and tales of Auntie Jo and Ians visit. We have just spent the weekend in Akaroa with them and had an absolutely splendid time and now they have set off on their jam packed adventure round the South Island and then up onto the North Island! They'll be able to recommend all the good sights to us!
