While we were away in Hanmer with Mike we had some wonderful news....Paul Laura and Gracie had been able to book some flights to come and stay with us! We had really been keeping our fingers and toes crossed that they might be able to make it to the SI before heading off on their next adventure and we were really excited to hear that the trip was ON!
We had a wonderful time having them to stay and LOVED catching up and spending time with the gorgeous Gracie (who had a number of adventures.......first steps, first flight through a glass window...read more and see the pictures here - so grateful that she was unhurt!)
We had a fun trip to the hot pools in Hanmer and just generally mooched, had muffins, chatted and pootled to the botanical gardens! We waved them off on their exciting adventure round the SI too! But had a lovely time when they returned the following weekend. It was sad to see them go - thanks SO much for coming and staying we loved it - we've missed you!
