We have been a little busy in the Andrews household recently! We have had a wonderful summer filled with many fantastic things and many truly wonderful people!
In early January, Liz and John Lovell came to stay and we had the pleasure of hosting them for a weekend. It was truly wonderful and we were so hugely blessed by their visit! They headed off on a wonderful adventure round the south island for a jam packed few days and then came back to be reunited with Diane mid week. We had an absolute scream over dinner and just had the most wonderful time! Unfortunately there are no photos as we were so busy having so much fun but honestly it was just one of the best times! Thanks for coming to stay!
The following weekend we ventured up to Hanmer Springs to meet up with Mike B as he was speaking at Summer Wine, an annual conference a bit like New Wine in the UK. We were kind of playing village hosts and even managed to wangle to stay at the house with Mike and Lance and Jeremy, two great guys that Mike had brought with him. We had LOTS of fun and laughter hanging out over the weekend! IT was great and we really loved meeting Lance and Jeremy who were just fantastic! We felt rather overwhelmed to have had 2 such significant weekends back to back! Look forward to hopefully catching up with those guys again in the states...!
So I shall write on with more posts......the fun had just started!
