Happy christmas everybody!

Our first Christmas in the sun! We were very thankful (and very in English!) in the morning when it was dull chilly and rainy. Perfect conditions for listening to Carols from Kings and cooking turkey and ALL the trimmings for 8! Dan ventured out on Christmas eve to secure a huge fresh turkey! I think he regretted not taking the car to the shops when he had to trug home with a 5kg beast tucked under his arm! Thankfully it did fit in the oven along with the stuffing, roasties and parsnips!!! We had a lovely day and had fun starting new traditions (playing football in the park, watching the queens speech at 7pm?!). CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS

We started the day with Jen and Fran (who are staying with us at the moment) over croissants and coffee. Matt Jo Neil and Nat came for dinner and the rest of the day which was great fun! The weather picked up in the afternoon and we managed to get out to Hagley park to begin the chore of burning off those Christmas calories. Unfortunately it was too hot to do anything too energetic and the girls opted for a stroll while the boys played football!

Hope you all had a fun Christmas! We are heading off on holiday now to join the rest of the camping kiwis! Updates soon!
