Well it seems that finally after endless months of summer (10 to be precise!), autumn is finally here much to my delight! I love Autumn and Winter, call me wierd but I really do!
So in response to the change in temperature a mild panic set in in the Andrews household bearing in mind no-one has central heating in NZ and it gets colder than home!. This produced a sudden desire to make....BY HAND.....a pair of fully lined curtains! Mainly to block out the hurricane of a draft coming through the 1 inch gap around our front door! It is amazing how desperate housewives helps pass the time! So to those of you who can't believe I can sew (me included as I used to sew my school sewing to my skirt!) here is a photo!
