Auckland Baby!

So we had a blast in Auckland! It was great to see some very familiar faces and also to meet some new ones too! We had a great time catching up with Mike and Beccy (after a tearful girlie reunion!) We stayed with the gorgeous K-S's and had a wonderful time getting to know Gracie a bit better!

We also had the opportunity to meet Ian Weaver from Australia who is awesome and to catch up with the Johnsons, meet their lovely daughter Amelie (I got an extra special treat and stayed a day later than Dan and got to hang out with Laura, Katherine, Gracie and Amelie for tea and cake!), and also to meet the Norris family properly! I think the first time we met Mike he was cutting down a tree that had been blown over in some freak storm! We also ate a HUGE amount of DELICIOUS food and managed amongst other things to squeeze in a special trip to burger fuel.....not that i had been dreaming about it or anything....but to list the other things....french toast....cake....sushi...cake....Hell pizza.....cake...hmmmm!

It was a really full on weekend but at the same time a tremendous blessing and was a really significant time for Dan and I! We are still pondering and processing lots so as we do so we'll post some photos!

Now isn't she just gorgeous! I got so many lovely cuddles and smiles! I couldn't resist posting these photos!

This is Laura and I having a rest after succesfully locating the source of the leak in the air bed! Well you've got to test it somehow!!? And then below this is Beccy trying to overcome the motion sickness at the top of the sky tower...the movement at the top made quite a few of us feel quite sick! But good on you Beccy, to say you are not the greatest fan of heights you were very brave coming to the top!
