We got up to Porters to ski last weekend and it was the most awesome day! Firstly because of the weather and secondly because we progressed to the button lift! Wohoo! No more magic carpet! We found ourselves skiing much more confidently, a few falls but parallel turns by lunchtime! Dan made me go back after lunch as I had fallen in style just before lunch and had kind of lost my bottle (not sure many kiwis use this expression as someone said that they really hope I'd found it again!!!!) Anyway I made it back, and sure did find my bottle again! We both had a blast, I had to drag Dan off in the end when it got a bit chilly and I was absolutely shattered! But it was awesome and can't wait to go again!
"I think I'll go just one more time......honest this is the last time!"
