The Chalmers come to visit!

The weeks have been quite busy lately! ~It seems that October and the start of November have just flown by!
At the beginning of October we had the lovely Emma and Stu stay with us as they did a tour of NZ! THey had flown from Auckland where I understand they had a lovely time with the K-S's, to Wellington and then sailed across the Cook Straight and drove down to Christchurch from Picton via Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs! Not bad going for not even a week in NZ!
It is as always so fantastic to catch up with friends from back home and to hear all the news! It is amazing how in no time at all it is as if we had just seen them last week!
Unfortunately we were not blessed with the best weather however we managed to get to Akaroa, for what I think was the best sea food chowder I have had yet and yummy fruitflow ice creams! And we even had a bbq too!
Sunday however we typically awoke to blue skies and sunshine, only for Emma and Stu to have to hop on a plane to palmy north, however the weather was looking good up there! After blueberry pancakes we trundled off to the airport and sandly said ur goodbyes!
It was such a blessing to have them to stay and hope that we'll see them again soon!
