Mondays....

Do you know, that chicken turned out to be allergic to cooking! It went into the oven and 2 hours later was still not fit to eat! 3hr 15 minutes to cook a chicken.......so frustrating! And yes I had the oven on, 180 degrees (no gas ovens here!) not sure what I was doing wrong, NZ chickens must be different, the packaging even said 1hr45-1hr50!? After all it was just a normal fresh chicken! Not sure if a look a little thick, but my colleague asked me wether I was sure that it was't frozen.........??.................??........although I love getting comments, I am not inviting any to that one! So our dinner consisted of mashed potato and kumara, spinach, peas and carrots! Gutted!
Anyway just looked out of the window, no clouds, sunshine and not a breath of wind! Can't wait to hop on my bike!

what a coincidence! I cooked a lovely roast chickie-bid (it's a Dodson thing - and no, it's not meant to read bird!) on sunday night and again tonight! yum yum it was gorgeous - and cooked in 1hr 20mins, M&S finest! lovely roast potatoes, stuffing (great granny's recipe) with lots of yummy veg! I think i could go on about food all day long... Can't wait for you to be back in this country so I can cook big Sunday roasts for you big sis (and bro!)
Big hugs from both of us,
Becky Boodle Pops, xx

some times if everyone is using their ovens at the same time then the teperature drops . you can always finish it in the microwave !!!!
