Just pondering, I am just cooking a roast chicken and realised that I think it is the first time I have cooked one since leaving the UK.....and to think we used to have roast chicken for Sunday lunch quite frequently! Sunday lunches used to be quite a social event in the Andrews house....I've rather missed them! However I have very much loved the fact that most sundays dinner is cooked for us so I cannor complain, thank you neil and nat.
Well yet again the weather was not suitable for skiing yesterday and Mt Hutt was shut. We were pretty fed up as we were packed and set to go first thing only to get up at 7 to find it was closed (well Dan got up at 7!) Nest weekend will be our last chance so we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed!
WE did however have some joy with our appartment hunt! We think we have found a new place which has everything we need (and more). We have had to put to bed the dream we had of having a swanky new pad, it just isn't realistic in the area we want to live in for our price range! So that buried, we have found a really great 3 bedroomed place with fab outdoor living and a pretty new kitchen. It right where we want to live and on alovely street, very perfectly actually, RUGBY street! So we'll keep you posted!!
Today we went to our favourite place, Hanmer Springs. So we are feeling very relaxed and somewhat sun toasted! The weather has been lovely this weekend! Lovely and HOT and SUNNY! Sorry to you Northern Hemisphere peeps!
Well I am going to get back to Top Gear! So entertaining and NZ's fav programme apparently!
