Getting up to speed!

So the rest of our trip to Dunedin was jam packed! We went on the speights brewery tour and learnt all about how beer is made. It was really rather interesting! We also got to pour and sample a few of the beers ourselves! We didn't try too much seeing as though it was only about 11.30am!
We had a pootle round the shops....sadly didn't see anything but we did have a wondeful lunch/brunch at a little cafe called the good oil. Very yummy!
The afternoon was spent exploring the wider area. Clayton took us out to where he grew up and to the farm that his grandparents had worked. It was amazing, so isolated and such a wonderful place nestled at the end of a very long gravel track! Again we finished the experience with cake at a little cafe in one of the towns on the way back to Dunedin!
Sunday we went out to Brighton beach and travelled down the coast. It was beautiful. So rugged and quite wild. And very beautiful! We stopped at an estuary to take some pictures! And then it was homemard bound back to Christchurch. Not however before we visited Moeraki Boulders. Which were amazing! The beach is sprinkled with spherical boulders which are just incredible. Perfectly round! THe geologist in me LOVED it!
