Well we have had quite a weather turn over the last week or so! We had the most mild winter for years and years apparently but now winter is well and truly here! And I write this with shakey hands due to uncontrollable shivering.....I never got round to turing the heater on in here earlier in the evening! So this will be a short post!
But as winter is my favourite season I am happy with the turn and have enjoyed biking to work! It is quite beautiful to see the frost on the grass and to see the early morning mist lifting from the the gorund in Hagley Park and from the river avon, which proves to me it must be cold!
From my office window I am privileged enough to be able to look out over the mountains (although in the distance!) and see recent snow coverage! It is very beautiful!
We are looking forward to repeating our trip to Porters Pass for sledging....as are most of our small group who are going to come along this time! Could be dangerous!!! Snow is forecast to low levels apparently this thursday......wohoo!!! And who knows maybe we'll venture to Mt Hutt this weekend for some skiiing!!!!? Apparently dependant upon Dan's workload which is piling up at the mo!!! We'll keep praying though.....
