Queens Birthday Weekend!

Oh yes that time of year again! The time of year when the last public holiday until October occurs....the queen's birthday! Kiwis are somewhat disturbed to find that we didn't have a clue when the queen's birthday was until we moved here! Even more so when they find it isn't a holiday in England!

This year we were invited to spend the weekend with Bridget and Clayton in Dunedin, staying at Claytons Grans house! So off we pootled on Friday!

So the road trip was rather fun, plenty of giggles! We arrived in Dunedin, in the dark although Dan and I still got excited by the old building lit up by the street lights and travelling through the uni campus which is right in the middle of town! It was all very exciting! We were greeted by Clayton's Grandma and treated to the most delicious home baked Bacon and Egg Pie! What a way to start the weekend! Well I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the rest of the adventures...off to bed now! So I shall leave you on the edge of your seats.....as I am sure you are! Gosh isn't it just so exciting!?
