Had to post, we've booked our trip to the glaciers! We're very excited Becca and Adam are coming to stay with us next week (they are currently taking the North Island by storm with Paul and Laura) and we've decided to take a road trip to the west coast and on to Franz Joseph and Fox Glacier!
So we've booked the accomodation ~one night in punakaiki and then 2 more luxurious nights in Franz Joseph and our glacier hike and I'll hopefully be booking a helicopter of plane ride over the top of them! SO EXCITED! We haven't had a day off since Easter!
We had to buy snow chains today for the car.........bizarre item which I'm not sure we never thought we'd be buying but as they say better to be safe than sorry, we'll just have to make sure we can put them on before we get stuck in a blizzard.
It will be fab to see the Staniforths, I'm sure there is much laughter and fun to be had....good job being that we've got quite a car journey ahead! Bring it on.....
